RV107 Children Meet at POGA

Celebrating a decade since the Riga-Valmiera 107 km run has been held in a charity format, children who have been guardian-angels of the historic run from 2015 to 2024 met at the POGA rehabilitation center.

The event was addressed by Ziedot.lv manager Rūta Dimanta and musician Kārlis Kazāks. Meanwhile, the children had fun with giant bubbles.

The total amount donated over the past 10 years is 53,112.83 euros. For the work done, the “Ultrataka” association received the “Strongman” certificate.

Next year, the Riga-Valmiera 107 km charity run is planned for May 3 and registration of participants will open on the morning of November 18 at 7:30:49, symbolizing the new course record. The race will celebrate Latvia’s 107th birthday (1918-2025)
